Our selection of children's books is exciting and different. Picture books are very important to us and you will find all the best illustrators represented, including new young artists as well as classic books with illustrations by Rackham, Shepard and Tenniel. We also search out unusual and hard to find titles by such artists as Kveta Pacovska and Lisbeth Zwerger. We love pop-up books and always have a large selection ranging from little books for the very young to the spectacular paper engineering of Robert Sabuda - often collected by adults.
Activity books are a particular speciality. We have maze and other puzzle books as well as books on drawing, painting, cartooning, origami and other craft activities along with paper planes and cut-out models. Children can make castles, towns or villages, Roman villas, a haunted house or a toy theatre. There are also press-out models, sticker books, and colouring books for younger children. Books from the American publishers, Klutz are some of the most popular covering a wide range of creative activities. The full range of books from Tarquin, including automata and moving models is also stocked.
